the word "STAPLE" simultaneously carries the meaning of
"a classic," "a core wardrobe item" in fashion,

Members based in Tohoku use Silver950,
which can be considered CONTRONYM's signature material,
to handcraft each piece,
which are then hammered into the denim by artisans.
By reinterpreting the industrial and inorganic motif of a stapler pin,
using the traditional material of silver and the handiwork of craftsmen,
each small and intricate piece acquires a distinct presence.
Furthermore, these are not merely decorative;
they also serve to reinforce the seams, embodying
a kind of ideal in design approach: the completeness of design and function.
This approach reflects CONTRONYM's uncompromising craftsmanship.
Additionally, Silver950 rivets, also featured in the first work,
“#C-1 ROBE SHIRT,” are placed at various points.
These rivets are also hammered in by craftsmen,
supporting the product from both a design and reinforcement perspective.
- Beautiful Shoecut Silhouette -
The silhouette is a slim shoecut base,
interpreted with a modern touch.
It's not an excessive flare,
but rather a pursuit of a subtle style upgrade,
with an exquisite line design.
The rise is set slightly shallower,
while ensuring moderate room around the thighs,
creating a shoecut line that subtly flares out from the knee.
A crucial role in achieving this delicate shoecut line
is played by the unique paneling constructed by combining multiple panels.
While typical 5-pocket jeans are formed with a relatively simple structure,
this pair is constructed using multiple transitions,
keeping the three-dimensional lines of the human body in mind.

For the fabric, we've used Japan's proud Okayama denim,
which enjoys immense support from denim lovers worldwide.
Woven in one of Japan's leading production areas that has produced countless masterpieces,
the fabric boasts a quality unique to Japan-made products,
combining ruggedness and delicacy.
True to CONTRONYM's style, the color chosen is black.
The deeply sunken black tone
creates a striking contrast with the Silver 950 STAPLE parts and rivets,
giving the product a profound and intense feel.
The fabric weight is 14oz.
Compared to general fashion denim,
it falls into the slightly heavier category.
When new, it features a stiff, rugged texture and
a reliable, tough feel.
However, this stiffness gradually softens with wear,
remembering each wearer's body movements and habits,
and transforming into a unique character.
The creases etched behind the knees,
The fades that appear on the thighs and hems,
And the slow fade characteristic of black denim.

The leather patch, essential for jeans, is often omitted nowadays, but considering the history of jeans as a product, it should still be an attached component.
For such leather patches, instead of ordinary cowhide,

It is a rare leather that has been used since ancient times for sword hilts and luxury leather goods,
possessing a distinctive granular texture and a beautiful, mineral-like luster.
Stingray leather also boasts extremely high durability, with a strength said to be about 10 times that of cowhide.

Its robustness, also referred to as "100-year leather," deeply resonates with the philosophy of this work, which is premised on long-term wear.
It exists as a signature symbolizing the craftsmanship embedded in these jeans.
And for the front,
iron laurel tack buttons
are adopted.
While brass or alloy buttons are common in modern jeans,
the deliberate choice of iron buttons stems from a deep respect for denim's long history and the desire to enjoy its aging process.
When new, they exhibit a dull, silver sheen, but over the years, they gradually oxidize, developing a reddish-brown rust that transforms into a unique texture.
