The first model from UNSUNG HERO, packed with features designed to subtly support your coordination.
Socks knitted using three strands of 30-count combed yarn.
The base of the socks uses a pile knit for excellent cushioning.
Pile knitting is a method of forming loops (piles) during plain knitting, resulting in a towel-like, soft texture.
The plump texture offers excellent moisture absorption, ensuring comfort even after long hours of wear.
To enhance the durability of the fabric, nylon is used for the core, but the visible surface and the part that touches the skin on the inside (pile part) are 100% cotton.
The result is a product that is particular about both its appearance and feel.
The greatest feature of this product is the change in knitting pattern applied to the upper part.
It adopts a "modified pearl knit."
The thickness of the fabric is adjusted to fit snugly around the ankle flexure.
Furthermore, this method allows the socks to be knitted while retaining the pile on the inside, unlike general half-pile socks, which is another key point.
The arch and ankle areas are switched to ribbed knitting to prevent slipping.
This also suppresses the stretching that is common with full-pile socks after prolonged use.
In addition, the heel part adopts a wide-heel structure to prevent slipping (heel lift) when walking.
It securely holds the areas that need to be tightened without compromising softness, achieving a high level of fit.
The factory used is a domestic factory in one of Japan's leading sock production areas.
The knitting machines used are vintage machines from a Japanese manufacturer.
Conversely, the linking of the toe is done using the latest machinery to achieve a flat finish.
This eliminates bulkiness when worn and pursues comfort.
While seemingly minimalist, when worn, they have a subtly three-dimensional, striped appearance.
They look like ordinary classic socks, but they are a little different.
The "subtle individuality" that emerged from the pursuit of practicality will support your styling from your feet.
