We made a wallet using firm cow leather that contains wax.

By penetrating wax into the leather, bridle leather is highly durable, and is characterized by a "bloom" in which the wax appears white on the surface, and the more you use it, the more it changes to a deeper color and the more it ages and the more it becomes more glossy.
