The 26AW collection is created under the theme of "AIR."

It is a unique and conceptual collection, characteristic of doublet, embodying the breath of the future.

“Air” is always there, yet invisible to the eye.
It has no weight, color, or outline, and is usually not even consciously perceived.

doublet's 2026 Autumn/Winter collection
began by confronting such “invisible air.”

Yarn made from CO2 in the air,
bio-based resin created by microorganisms that "eat" greenhouse gases,
ink derived from carbon in exhaust fumes.
We encountered materials born from "air" that we usually pay no mind to.

However, air yarn was by no means an easy material to handle.
Heat shrinkage, changes due to processing conditions, and an uncooperative texture.
I hear that even the developers themselves wondered repeatedly,
"Can this really be released to the world?"

Behind technology where only results tend to be praised,
there are countless failures and trials and errors.
Yet, they continued to move forward, believing that "next time, it will work."

Why go to such lengths?
I believe it's because it's “interesting.”
What couldn't be done yesterday can be done today.
What wasn't understood yesterday can be understood today.
There is a scenery that can only be seen beyond that.

We want to give shape to that “time not given up on.”
That all hesitations and detours were a breath (process) leading to the future.

“AIR” is
clothing born from air,
clothing born from belief,
and a collection connected to a future not yet formed.

This tailored jacket utilizes ZEPHYR, a material developed by material manufacturer Plaisir that is created by reacting atmospheric carbon dioxide with hydrogen.

A symbolic item from this collection, it embodies doublet's style, using cutting-edge, environmentally friendly materials while not forgetting unique accents and refined tailoring.

A unique knit that, in true doublet style, features smog discharged from a factory transformed into fur and applied three-dimensionally, creating a striking and unconventional look.

This design ironically expresses the season's "air" theme.
