Amanojak. produced FRACTION's debut collection,
the EGON TROUSER.
These trousers incorporate the "imperfect outline"
style of Austrian painter Egon Schiele,
a figure deeply admired by designer Hiro Nakano.
Random darts that create three-dimensionally distorted shadows
Innumerable darts along the outseam and inseam.
Not "to make it look slender,"
nor "to show it as a design,"
but a structure "to distort the fabric."

The core textile for this custom order
is an original wool gabardine that FRACTION specially ordered from a fabric mill.
By letting the fabric slacken during dyeing and drying,
and allowing it to shrink naturally,
a shaded texture is achieved.
Its supple texture also
adds depth to its three-dimensional form,
creating complex lines reminiscent of Egon Schiele's drawings.
