EMBROIDERED CHAIN TRACK PANTS

[Design]
These track pants are made from nylon fabric that has been spray-dyed for a mottled effect. Around the pockets, chains featuring charms of fish and lures are intricately embroidered, adding a three-dimensional presence. These pants can be paired with a matching jacket to create a coordinated set.

The "tools" used to catch fish are sewn onto clothing as decoration. This contrast makes us imagine the sheer amount of skill and life intertwined in the background of a single fish that we casually eat. When we realize this, wearing clothes might also become an act connected to saying "itadakimasu" (a Japanese phrase said before eating, expressing gratitude for the food and its origins).
